In the meantime, I'd suggest either going back to the old version without the Inventory auto-remove, or comment out that section in the currentversion, and advising players to scale their GUI down. The primary fix is going to have to be an edit of the overlay when LaserHydra gets to it.
The Inventory input auto-remove of the overlay was a good idea, but unfortunately, interacting with world storage items with the Use key, then using theInventory key to close the container removes the crosshair overlay, and you have to do a little two-step dance with opening and tabbing out again to restoreit.
Looks like thesuggestion early in the thread to reduce the User Interface Scale in the in-game Graphics settings to 0.85 or less (if you're 1080p fullscreen, at least)is the best option, as it scales down the inventory and moves it away from the overlay. Whatever tinkering you do, is at your own risk.Been looking at the problems associated with the 3rd and 4th inventory slots being non-responsive due to the crosshair overlay. Is what I'm doing giving me an advantage? If so, then it's probably a cheat. (also EAC protected servers)Īnd you can also ask yourself a simple question. how to get a crosshair in rust 2020 (free) - youtub ation features black crosshairs during daytime and tritium illu. If It's VAC protected.then it's generally a good idea, not to attempt to alter the game files while playing in VAC protected servers. They're not going to give you a helpful list of files to not "modify" so you don't get banned in a specific game.
The forum moderators here aren't also Rust developers. Look, it's the exact same post about crosshair bans.but for Rust. I just find it a little bit odd that Valve doesn't have a post about what counts as a cheat and what not, this is just inexcusable. But it depends on what kind you used, so YMMV.īut that was exactly my question. External overlays are likely not allowed in any capacity. Originally posted by ☣Skadi☣:But you could be, is the point.
